D. Rouen

Rouen's cathedral is noted for having been built in about thirty years, which gave it great architectural unity. It was heavily damaged in a fire, was bombed in World War II, and was hit by a tornado in 1999. And Monet painted it a lot, too. The Eglise Saint-Maclou is another huge Gothic church, this one in the high or flamboyant style.
